Return and Refund Policy
Every scented candle is crafted with the utmost care. If you happen to change your mind upon receiving your candle however, you are warmly invited to review the return and refund guidelines below, compiled in accordance with European consumer standards.
I. Changing Your Mind (30 Days)
Because European consumer guidelines are strictly followed, you have 30 days from the day your parcel arrives to let us know if you would like to return it. This window welcomes all customers and friends worldwide.
To ensure your return can be beautifully received, the candle must arrive back at the workshop in the exact same condition it left:
- Unopened, unused, and strictly unlit (for safety and hygiene reasons, candles that have been lit cannot be accepted)
- Nestled in its original box
- Accompanied by your receipt or proof of purchase
II. Shipping & Boundaries
- Standard Returns: If you are returning a candle simply because you changed your mind, the return shipping costs are your responsibility. If you are shipping from outside the European Union, please note that any customs duties or local taxes are also at your expense, and initial shipping fees cannot be refunded
- If a Mistake Occurs: In the rare event that the wrong item was slipped into your package or an error was made during preparation, all return costs will be fully covered with a prepaid shipping label
III. How to Share a Return Request
Before sending anything back, please send a quick note to rivercombe@pm.me.
Once your request is received, detailed instructions will be shared with you on how to safely ship your parcel back to the workshop in France: 8 rue Geistdoerfer, 22100 Dinan, France
⚠️ To ensure a smooth journey for your package, please make sure to send an email before shipping, as unauthorized returns cannot be accepted.
IV. Damaged or Broken Candles (5-Day Limit)
Great care is poured into packaging each order safely, but accidents can happen during transit. Please inspect your candle as soon as it arrives. If it is damaged, you must share a note within 5 days of delivery so a claim can be opened with the carrier.
Please include a photo of the damaged candle and its packaging in your email. Things will be quickly made right by offering you:
- A complimentary replacement candle shipped to you right away
- Or a full refund (including your initial shipping fees)
V. Your Refund
As soon as your package safely reaches us and its condition is checked, an email will be sent to confirm your refund.
Once approved, the credit will automatically go back to your original payment method within 10 to 14 business days, depending on your bank's processing times.
