Terms and Conditions of Service

Every scented candle crafted in the workshop is an invitation to travel to Rivercombe. By placing an order on this website, you are embracing the guidelines and terms outlined below.

ARTICLE 1 – LEGAL NOTICE

This website is mindfully edited by the micro-enterprise Rivercombe, represented by Maud F. Verstage, with its registered workshop located at: 8 rue Geistdoerfer, 22100 Dinan, France.

Website: rivercombe.com

ARTICLE 2 – PURPOSE

These Terms and Conditions of Sale govern the purchase of all creations offered through rivercombe.com. Validating your order means you fully accept these terms.

ARTICLE 3 – ORDERS

You are invited to select your favorite creations and review your basket before finalizing your order. The journey begins and the sale becomes definitive once an email confirmation is sent and your payment is received. The workshop reserves the right to cancel an order should any prior dispute exist.

ARTICLE 4 – PRICES & TAXES

Prices are displayed in the currency of your choice based on your location. As a French micro-enterprise, VAT is not applicable (per Art. 293 B of the French CGI), meaning the price you see is the exact net amount to be paid. Shipping fees are calculated and clearly shown when checking out your basket. Every creation remains the property of the workshop until full payment is completed.

ARTICLE 5 – SECURE PAYMENT

Payments are made safely by credit card or through the secure payment solutions provided on the website. All transactions are fully encrypted, ensuring that your sensitive banking details never pass through the workshop.

ARTICLE 6 – SHIPPING & DELIVERY

Each order is carefully prepared within 3 to 5 business days.

- Delivery Zones: Mainland France and the European Union only.

- Shipping Methods: Mondial Relay and DPD Predict

Great care is taken to ensure your parcel reaches you safely. In the rare event of a major delay or a lost package, a claim will be immediately opened with the carrier to resolve the issue for you.

ARTICLE 7 – RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL (30 Days)

In accordance with Article L221-18 of the French Consumer Code, you have 30 days from the day your parcel arrives to change your mind, for any reason and without justification. To be received back, your candles must be completely unused, unlit, and in their original packaging. Return shipping costs are your responsibility, and your refund will be processed within 30 days of the return being safely received and checked at the workshop.

ARTICLE 8 – LEGAL WARRANTIES

Every creation benefits from the legal warranty of conformity and the warranty against hidden defects. Should a product arrive faulty or defective, the workshop is fully committed to offering you a replacement or a complete refund.

ARTICLE 9 – PRIVACY & DATA PROTECTION

While every effort is made to ensure a smooth online experience, the workshop cannot be held responsible for internet network disruptions or unpredictable technical events. Your personal data is collected with care and used strictly to process your orders and nurture our relationship with you. In accordance with GDPR regulations, you hold the right to access, rectify, or delete your information at any time by writing a quick note to rivercombe@pm.me.

ARTICLE 10 – INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

The entire universe displayed here including texts, visuals, and photographs is the exclusive property of Rivercombe. Any reproduction or use without prior heartfelt permission is strictly prohibited.

ARTICLE 11 – UNCLAIMED PARCELS (Mondial Relay)

If a package is not collected from the pickup point within the timeframe allowed by Mondial Relay, it will make its way back to the workshop. You may then choose between:

- Reshipping your parcel: The new shipping fees will be at your expense.

- A refund for your order: This will exclude the initial shipping fees and will be deducted by any return fees charged by the carrier.

ARTICLE 12 – DISPUTES & APPLICABLE LAW

Should a misunderstanding arise, a friendly and peaceful solution will always be preferred. If needed, you may contact a consumer mediator free of charge. These Terms and Conditions are governed by French law.
